Hello.....I have bought several different packages of Ryvita Sesame Rye crackers and have found that nearly everyone has a
tadte of mould now, even onces that are a good date. This particular package is good until April 31, 2012 and it's horribly moulding tasting. I have a mould allergy so I must be very careful.
I have had packages in the past with NO mould taste but something has changed and the grains being used must have more mould content or something. The code on this particular package is 0 7893500518.
I like this product as I have a yeast allergy so I like to use the crackers but not if they contain mould!! Or, at least they sure taste like they do.
What do you suggest....has there been other complaints of excessive mould taste in the past year or so. I've noticed it for about 8 months to a year or so.
Please do not add or give out my name to other mailing lists or companies.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Sincerely,
Maggie
ARE RYVITA CRACKERS VEGAN?
Response: While the product itself is vegan, due to the fact that honey and cream cheese are used in flavoring some products, there could be a very small risk of cross contamination. For this reason we do not state on the package that the product is Vegan.
I love starting my day with Ryvita Fruit and Seed Crunch
